Automatically control complex microscopy equipment in a
simple and repeatable manner. Scope-Pro® is designed for Image-Pro
Plus users who want to control and program the movement of their automated microscope
and/or stage. The add-on module allows you to control complex microscopy equipment in a
simple, repeatable manner for reproducible results. Unlike manual methods or other tedious
software programs, Scope-Pro reduces the need to put your eye to the ocular during image
acquisition and virtually eliminates the need to manually adjust microscope controls. |
|
Repetitive routines can be automated for better quality control and increased efficiency.
The software is easy to use and consistently provides reliable and accurate
measurements.
Point and click simplicity saves you time. Standard point and click
functions of the stage control include single step movement in any x, y, or z direction.
Scope-Pro also controls your motorized filter wheels, shutters, filter sliders and lamp
settings. Individual configurations of all your automated equipment can be saved and
returned to with a simple selection of the configuration name. When a configuration is
selected, all of the automated components will be moved to the desired positions. Manual
components are supported, too, and a reminder message box appears whenever a manual
component needs to be adjusted for a particular configuration. |
| Configuration can be done through a tab dialog, allowing user specification of
component types and names. Capture is also integrated into Scope-Pro, allowing a single
command or button press in Scope-Pro to capture an image with a desired microscope setup.
Optionally, the shutter can be controlled in conjunction with capture, which can help
minimize bleaching for fluorescent samples. |

Scope-Pro includes pre-defined multiwell plate patterns for easy set-up.
|
Easily automate your repetitive functions.
Scope-Pro is supported by Image-Pro's internal programming
language, AutoPro. Repetitive functions and movements can be automated by recording them
in a Auto-Pro macro or Visual Basic program. By integrating control of the stage into a
macro program, you can incorporate any of Image-Pro's 200+
analysis and processing routines into a fully automated image capture, analysis, and data
collection process.
System Requirements
The Scope-Pro module is 32-bit software that can be installed at any time by
Image-Pro Plus 4.0 users with Windows 95/NT 4.0 and supported
equipment. Scope-Pro requires Image-Pro
Plus v4.0 for Windows
95/98/NT 4.0 and a Pentium 120 or better CPU with at least 32mb of RAM.
